In this current climate we want to do all we can to promote curiosity and a thirst for new learning for our pupils. Here are some ideas of websites and activities to do with your child at home.

What is it? There are weekly assemblies for you to watch with your family.

What is it? YouTube is a video sharing service where users can watch, like, share, comment and upload their own videos. The video service can be accessed on PCs, laptops, tablets and via mobile phones. You can download a YouTube Kids which limits the content to only family friendly videos.
Being active is essential during this time, it is great for our physical health, but also for our emotional health. When we exercise it increases endorphins in our body (happy hormones), and triggers positive feelings in the body. Why not try The body Coaches PE lessons, they are 30 minutes activity, that you can do in your house or in the garden, these sessions are live on YouTube everyday at 9 am (sign in and comment your child might get a shout out!) they are great for the whole family to do together, and really get your day started. If you miss the (9 am session you can get previous days sessions on the YouTube channel too.

What is it? The sector-led Oak National Academy has launched its online classroom and resource hub. The Academy offers 180 video lessons each week for schools to use, across a broad range of subjects.
